This looks like the last big tournament this year, is this another Braves to lose? There seems to be a few higher profile teams missing here, are they playing somewhere else?
I like the SP Spartans to make it to the finals against the Braves unless their on the same side of the bracket. How about the Grays? Can they contend?
1. EAST COBB OUTLAWS--MARIETTA, GA (PAID GATE) 2. WILLS PARK SCORPIONS--ALPHARETTA, GA 3. EAST COBB BRAVES--MARIETTA, GA 4. EAST COBB RAYS--MARIETTA, GA 5. ROSWELL HORNETS--ROSWELL, GA 6. I believe that the ECB Titans & Tigers are listed to play up in Dalton. Also, I believe the Yard Dogs are hosting their own AABC tournament. |

insider, I believe the last big one(Quality of teams) is gonna be the USSSA State next week at EC(7th-13th).
If the Braves website is true, it has 6-7 major teams in it compared to above which has 3-4. Kudos to Sandy Plains for stepping up and getting in the USSSA State and playing the Big Guns of the State. 1. ECB Braves 2. ECB Raptors 3. ECB Rays 4. ECB Stars 5, 6-4-3DP Cougars 6. Georgia Grays 7. Sandy Plains Wildcats 8. Stealth Bomberz 9. GA Yard Dogs
Thats at least 5-6 of the top teams in the state. I hope the Yard Dogs bring their A game with the all the talking going on this site, from what Ive seen this season, they have yet to come to Cobb and take home a Championship. |

Yard Dogs are actually taking the weekend off .....
We will be at the USSSA State to settle who the best team in Georgia is for 2010. We look forward to getting a chance to "FINALLY" see this new look GRAYS team (Any More PIck-UPs), Stealth and of course EC Braves. Hopefully the Elite Gamers will have a good showing this weekend, as they struggle outside of Henry County, and come to the State Championship to get in the mix, Sig Park should take their chances as well and if anyone knows a way to get in contact with "titan1" from Shiloh please send him an evite as well ...... GGBL season has "GOT" to be over.......Others deserving teams are the Alpharetta A's (not a bad team, played us to 6 innings yesterday), Wills Park Scorp, Macon Cardinals and ....... Special invite to HomePlate ...... Coach E bring those boys out and play!
Good Luck to all the teams this weekend ...... Dogs will visit you all on Sunday for the championship ........ MY PREDICTION EC Braves win easily over Elite Gamers Red ..... and I going on a Limb here ..... Coach S cant say I never gave you any love |

The Tigers and Stars are now entered so the number of teams is now 14, looks to be a nice field of teams. |

Error on 6,
Let me put you up on what the stats say because one thing this Yard Dog does is back up all the talking that I do......
First - we have been in 3 tournaments up top..... Won one and lost in the "Championship" game in the other 2.
Second - there is not a team on the list above that has beaten us "EVER" other than EC Braves and Stealth and the beautiful thing about that is next week will be the rubber matches with both as we are tied 2-2 with EC Braves and 1-1 with Stealth
Third - IMHO the only reason why the field is as deep as it is this weekend at the TC State is because "WE" are not there ....... 2 weeks ago when we were on the list it was slim pickings.... Since we dropped out 6 additional teams have entered........HMMMMMMMMM
Fourth - This is the most important stat you need to know there are three teams ranked Nationally at 10U in the state of GA and we are one of them (#9) so we have absolutely nothing to prove. EC Braves are ranked #3 and we have beaten them 2 out of four times this year.
We just want good consistant competition no running, ducking, hiding ....... Baseball is a funny sport anyone can jump out of the bushes and beat you but consistancy is what marks a great team and we are consistant if we are nothing else.
CHECK THE STATS |

Yard Dog
Signature Park Spartans would like to come play in the USSSA State and see how we could do but this weekend at Triple Crown State will be the last tournament for these Spartans. Serval families have decided to be done for the summer. My son was not very happy when I told him. Maybe we need to find families that are a little more dedicated. |

Yard Dog,
Not sure where your getting this feeling that everyone is trying to avoid your team, you guys are obviously a great team but I think we all know the EC Braves are as good as you guys. They have been listed on the TC site for months and I can't imagine any semi-competitive team say we're not going because the Braves or Yard Dogs are there.
Most of these coaches know, it would be a major upset to win but you don't get better by playing weaker teams week after week. |

Does anybody really care who the best 10U team in Georgia is? The horn blowing is getting old and the song is stale.

If I had a choice between playing a team whose fans jumped up and shouted like they were in church when we made errors, and whose coaches yelled at their players and umps on every call against them, and were over the top celebrating every play they made, or a team whose fans/coaches applauded good plays on both sides of the diamond, showed exemplary sportsmanship and respect to all i attendance, and respected the game, I'd play the latter. Wouldn't you?

I think this thread has gotten hijacked, one thing I wanted to ask is what are everyone's opinion about this tournament starting at 8:30AM on a Friday? Like most people, I have to work during the day so these early Friday games are a pain. Even games at 4:30-5:00PM are tough when the drive is 1 hours, your talking about taking a half day off because of this. |

True Error, the list didn't include the heavy hitters last time I checked but now? Wow, that's quite a list of teams.
Kudos to the Sandy Plains & EC Raptors teams, both are AA level and want to mix it up with the best in the state. |

Here is the link, a couple of interesting notes. The lower seeded Rays defeated the Tigers and the Outlaws defeated the Stars. Just looking at the scores, both games seemed to have been one sided.
How about Signature Park as well, that makes the 11, 12 & 13 seed all advancing easily. In three pool games, the ECB Braves have scored 52 runs and only allowed 10, can anyone stop them???

Grays go 3-0 in pool and then get bounced in the first bracket game, tough draw in the 14th seeded Spartans though. I'm sure Yard Dog would of liked to of been there but other factors were involved that might have prevented them from playing in this.
Signature Park was the only team to stay within 10 runs of the Braves, maybe the Wills Park Scorpions can get them. They played the Braves tough last weekend, losing in the last inning. |

ecbinsider called it correctly, the ECB Braves defeated the SP Spartans in the finals. SP taking the long road having to go through the Grays, Outlaws & Raptors as the last seeded team. Great way to end the season! |

ran into some issues during the last TC tournament, TD felt it would be better for them to "take a break" |
