MBA Pride entering almost guarantees that the Bandits will be there. I can tell you all from experience that early March is not the best time to catch these elite Florida Teams. They are so far ahead of us at this time due to their weather. Every one wants to know why the Bandits are playing Major 12U in February and herein lies your answer. We feel that the 12's will get us more prepared than anything we could do and we are not even sure playing Major 12U will be enough but we do promise that we will be there and will do our best. Last year we got caught off guard with the bigger stronger players of Mizuno but they are not as big or as strong as we expect the East Cobb Astros and Jaquars to be. In a way our older Georgia friends might be the very thing that gets us ready. If we can find a way to just compete with these great 12 year old's then we should be able to hold our own with Florida but then again with Baseball its always been "WHO THE HECK KNOWS WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN"

Papa looks forward to seeing his friend 10BB in Atlanta. It is and has always been a pleasure to play with and against this opponent as you can always expect the very best that they can bring.

Approximately 3 weeks left for this one and still only 4 major 11U teams signed up. Is this normal Moser or have teams had it with the traffic and conditions. I still feel sure the Bandits will come so this will make 5 teams and I heard the Bay Bombers are coming. Come on guys lets all get signed up.

More teams signed up earlier last year. I think you'll see 1 or 2 Alabama teams jump in late after their Feb 12th SNIT is decided, and I think you'll see 1 or 2 teams from North Carolina (MBA won their Fall SNIT). I still think Sandtown will play. I noticed the Chilidogs-Lawson have not paid TC yet, and the EC Titans are not listed for the TC 3-19 tourney. Your not 3 away, more like 7 weeks out. I wouldn't get nervous about a thin field until around Feb 19th.

Papa has just been informed that the Bandits are officially in the Super NIT but that does not mean we are interested in Disney. What it means is that we won't miss the opportunity to accept the challenge by what we have been told and believe to be a great "MBA Pride" team and expect many other great teams not already listed to seize this challenge and get entered soon. It's now time for 10bb and the Bay Bombers to get off the dime and joint the fun. Should make for a great weekend of baseball.

Step right up and get all of the best competition the 11U baseball world can offer. Doesn't matter how many teams if the quality of the team is there and this one looks like a major early test for all of us.

There are now 10 major teams listed with 8 being paid. Smaller than normal but still plenty of time. What it lacks in the number of teams it more than makes up for in the quality of the teams entered.

The Orange Beach Alabama S-NIT taking place this coming weekend has only 6 teams in it (4 Majors). Unless several more enter between now and game time, I think USSSA needs to re-assess where and when they are holding S-NIT's.

The Bay Bombers look to have a really good chance to win a relatively easy Super NIT this weekend.

As much as I would like to say that the Orange Beach Tourny will be a cake walk is just not the case.

We competed against a 12u major team on Sunday and lost 8 to 4 on 4 hits. We played sluggish and just didn't look like our normal self.

On another note the Lynn Haven Longhorns will be a very good team in 2010 and tough to beat. They beat us twice last year and have really worked hard on recruiting in the winter.

Gulf Coast Lightning is another good team and deserves the credit of being a team to beat. They have somehow always found a way to make it to Disney every year and usually do good while there.

All in all we will have to play our A game in order to win this thing and at this point we are just not ready. I will tell you all this that we are not going there to lose but we will have to except whatever the baseball Gods have in store for us.

I love yah man, but you have 3 Major opponents vying for a key that unlocks the crypt encasing the Holy Grail. Its not going to take Indiana Jones to break the code. Some USSSA Jabba the Hutt looking dude is sitting down there in Alabama playing the system like a Stadivarius. Makes me want to puke green stuff and spin my head around like some crazy broad with an attitude.

That's the facts jack!

What did moser just say. I didn't know that they sold the hard stuff at the movies. Sounds like he just left an all night movie marathon featuring, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and the Exorcist. If you are looking to get to Disney this would be the one to enter. Papa and the Bandits would love to be there and try to cast all of the baseball demons into the Atlantic Ocean.

moser: Send Papa some of that elixir you have been drinking. I could stand a good pick me up as this weather has really got Papa down. If it wasn't for the indoor cage I would be a wreck.

Are we ever gonna get some baseball weather in Georgia.

I guess Dennis Miller isn't as well known as I thought, or my impersonation was really bad. I think I'll stick to my BMoser impersonation from now on.

I noticed a few more teams jumped into the S-NIT, including Sandtown. The purity level of this field of teams is very high.

You are right moser. The quality caliber of the Super NIT is off the chart and might be one of the strongest fields in many years in our age division.

Papa, you feeling better about this tourney now? I told you not to worry, and that the allure of Disney is too great to pass up in 11U where there's no Cooperstown. I think I counted 7 out of State teams and 16 paid, or verbally committed.

I think Slugfest is the bomb (do they still say that, or should I say beast?) for AA and AAA teams, but for Majors, nothing beats the S-NIT for its variety and depth of tough teams.

bmoser: I don't if I am feeling better or worse. This thing is loaded but I do feel better in that I think we will be better prepared this year than we were last year when the Glory came in with their big guns blazing.

What do you think about us getting the Astros right out of the gate in the Triple Crown. Probably as good a time as any in my opinion but it would not have hurt my feelings to wait. I think that we will be more mentally ready because of these 12U tournaments we have entered.

I really just wish we could get all of our pitchers well. WH can't pitch this weekend and TC couldn't pitch last. I think we will be all right once they all get ready.

This week will our toughest week in a long time and I can't wait to see how the kids react to the hype.
