2 pools of 4 teams each, play all teams in your pool (3 games), then all 8 are seeded and advance to single elimination bracket. |

Bandits hate to miss this one. Looks like one of the strongest fields of the year. Bandits are going to line up in a mine field of nationally ranked teams this week in Pigeon Forge Tennessee. Cincy Flames, Germantown Giants, Knoxville Stars, One other ranked team and us the Bandits in a round robin type format. Game will be more about competing against the best than it is about winning every single game. But from looking at the field of teams noted above we may be stepping down not up. Good luck and you all beat up on each other and know that the Bandits look forward to our return in 2-3 weeks. |

Looks like a pretty good tournament not many weak teams so everyone had a chance to win some ball games. Playing everyone in pool will seperate the good teams from the not so good teams. Not playing this weekend so I will check this one out. Anyone know the gate fees, possible weekend pass price? |

Pool play wont matter too much, looks like everyone advances although a bye in the 1st round of bracket could save someone some pitching. I think 6-4-3 and Kennesaw are pretty deep in pitching, but with these teams I think they all have deep pitching. Should make for an exciting tournament. |

We appreciate the interest in our Mid Spring Classic event. You can go the Nations Baseball national website to keep up with the tournament. Go to www.nations-baseball.com and click on Tournaments; once on the search screen click on Georgia and 10U and the tournaments will come up; click on Mid Spring Classic II; once the tournament comes up click on Schedules and the Tournament Report will come up. You can also click on Pitching at the top of the report to view all pitching by team.
Finally you can also do a Team Search and go to any teams site; if you click on Event Results you will see the results and remaining schedule for that team.

Holly Springs ended up the #1 seed and faces EC Longhorns Sunday morning. GA Grip defeated HP CD Black in the first bracket game Saturday night and will play the winner of the Holly Springs/Longhorns game. Kennesaw and 643 are in the other half of the bracket and could face off in the semifinals. |

People have slept on Holly Springs. That is a good team with a lot of heart. Ask the Stixx about them. |

Congratulations to the Georgia Grip on winning the Nations Baseball Mid Spring Classic II.
In an exciting championship game the Georgia Grip edged the 643DP Cougars 2-0. A great pitchers duel which included several awesome defensive plays by both teams.
Many thanks to all of the players, coaches and families who came out and participated in this exciting event.
More Nations Baseball tournaments are coming in May and June. Please check out the NWBA website, Eteamz tournaments or the Nations Baseball national site (www.nations-baseball.com) for more details. |

I saw the 2nd half of the 643/Grip game. What pitching from both teams. The kid from the grip was the best i've seen this year. I was a little disappointed with the amount of hooks he was throwing (however; they were unbeliveable hooks!) The defense from both teams was stout. 643 turned one of the prettiest 4-6-3 double plays i have seen from any team 10's - 12's this year. Maybe they should change their names to the 463DP Cougars? This was the first time i've seen the grip play this year and they are for real. Good sticks, fundamental d, and serious ace on the mound. Nation's baseball got a good one for the championship game. Wish i would have seen more of the tourney as i heard there were a lot of good games through out. |

We played the HP Express in the semifinals and they are a legit Major team. Solid pitching, great hitters and first class coaches.
Didn't get the chance to face the Longhorns but interacted with some of their parents. Very nice people.
