A good friend of mine lives in the Stone Mountain/Brookwood area.
He is wanting to get his son into lessons in that area.
Can anyone help me find a good instructor in that part of town?

Son is 8U and does swimming and karate right now but really wants to get into baseball.

LET ME KNOW PLEASE.

GA sports center is the closest. RENZ baseball is another great facility.

Check out Hitters Box in Duluth. Jasha Balcom has been instructing my son for the 3rd year in hitting (excellent). He also has a pitcher instructor that just graduated from Yale. He has been doing strengthening and velocity training, getting players to throw 5 mph faster in 5 weeks with his program.

Thanks guys for all of your post. I think by the websites everyone has a great facility.
I think he is going to go with Crossroads only because it is very close to his house.
Thank you all though and I hope you all have a great spring. Good Luck.

Scott Key works out of the Mountain Park area in Lilburn, scott.key88@yahoo.com. Bill Melvin in the Decatur area, bill@pitchingforexcellence.com. Both have good reputations.

My son, and several others playing 11U have worked with Rick Felt (pitching coach) at Crossroads. The results have been outstanding, and his confidence level has definitely risen since working there. Rick's eldest son is a senior in HS, and is being evaluated by Major League scouts. I believe that speaks for itself.

Rick Felt is a good one. I believe his son will probably go to Oregon if I am not mistaken. I also think he Rick was in the Dodgers organization.
