Ga. Teams are doing well. Both the east Cobb raptors and Alpharetta A's went 2-1 in pool play to move into the diamond bracket with the top 16 teams. The legends , the Houston wranglers and the California lumberjacks look very tough.

$13.50 for Adults and $10 for kids 3-9 daily, that cost's more then watching the Braves!

Where can one follow this tournament online? AAU has nothing, kind of a big secret.

Looks like the GA teams struggled in the 2nd round of pool play, ECB Raptors went 1-2 and the A's went 0-3 and got eliminated in the first round of single elimination. Raptors are still alive but face a tough Florida team next.

The lumberjacks beat the A's 10-0 and then beat the legends 14-4. They are the best team I have seen. They have at least 6 kids that are about 5'7" and weigh about 150 and run like the wind. A very impressive group of kids and super gracious coaches. The raptors did great and win their first bracket play game in the diamond bracket by beating ecb renegades. They then lost to team florida which is a solid team. My bet is on the California lumberjacks to take it all. For those who have not gone the Disney experience us zn amazing opportunity to plat top tier teams from all around the country . You learn a lot about your team and the kids live playing teams fro California to ny.

Yes what a great tournament this was and the compitition was great. As far as the Lumberjacks are concern you are correct about them,Great group of players and parents. It is just to bad that a bunch of id**ts for FLa. Decided to take away their bid for NYBC. Yes what they did was in the rules but this is a "TEAM" sport and Team Fla. was not a team. A few of the Legends coaches decided to put together a hand selected team from some of the best players within Fla. as a back up plan for the NYBC. Just in case their team LEGENDS did not qualify through USSSA. What upsets me most is Team Fla. Roster never played together as a team. Yet AAU allowed them to Replace the Whole Roster with players from Legends,Threshers,Acadamy Rebels, and a couple of 10's that have been playing 11's all year. Again within the rules. I feel bad for All the teams that had worked hard all year as a "TEAM" and choose to play AAU for the bid lost out because of these coaches. Could you imagine what they would be saying if a team from GA. or Ca. came with all hand pick players from all the top teams in their state. They would come unglued..LOL

All I can say now is I can't wait to see somebody beat them in Tenn at the NYBC.

On a side note I think NYBC is the only one that can stop all these players from jumping roster to roster. There are multiple players qualified for NYBC on multiple teams. Because we know that none of the national Orginizations will change it.

Wow, that's an amazing tale. I hope that it is not true. When I was lucky enough to go to the first NYBC we were told NO SUBSTITUTES. I hope they don't allow any rule changes, and go back to, if the #1 team can't make it offer it to number 2...

Just to let you know, I am a parent of a player on the Florida Legends. Team Florida has no association with the Florida Legends team. Team Florida did borrow some of the Legends players, but the coaches from Team Florida are not the same coaches from the Legends. This was no "back-up" plan whatsoever. The Florida Legends are done playing until the fall.

The Legends were top to bottom the best team I saw....As far as putting a team together for one tourney I like it as we have played on several teams like that. And to call people idiots for doing something that you don't agree with is a little much. Other teams had an opportunity to do what Team Florida did, it was completely within the rules. Also "can't wait to see somebody beat them in Tenn at the NYBC"??? Jealous much?? Get serious, it is like anything else in the world somebody is going to take it more serious than others, some people are gonna throw more money than others it doesn't mean they are wrong just doing it differently.

The legends lost to the California Lumberjacks. Team Florida(a compilation team) won it all and is going to tn. The Lumberjacks were handown the best team that didn't import players.

You're talking about the Texas Legends. We were talking about the Florida Legends. Big difference...
