I was just wondering why a coach for a 11u team would want to wear metal cleats. I saw a coach at east cobb other day running around with metal cleats, there are signs posted everywhere for players not to wear cleats except for on field ,does this not apply for coaches. Looks like rules should be for everyone including coaches, and coaches should be setting examples.
What would be the advantages for a coach to wear them , It wasnt raining so I dont think he needed the extra traction, help me out on this one..

Maybe he got them on clearance? or had an adult game after the tourney game he was at? Or maybe it was the sound they made

So he can get to the umpire quicker to straighten things out. That's why I wear them!!
