pop quiz, for GA boys only, who are they?
I know who you are talking about but I dont put them in the same category as the Longhorns or Bombers. GCL is not a top Major team in my opinion. They are AAA at best. They have a good record but always seem to build that record off of weak teams. I wish they would come down to central florida |

Thanks to baseballpapa for writing on our guestbook. The kids will really appreciate that. We look forward to meeting your boys; not just on the field but off the field as well! Thanks again! |

ding,ding,ding,ding,ding...correct!
I knew you two would know it, but was wondering if anyone else keeps an eye on teams outside of Georgia. I cant wait to see the next S-NIT results down South. I think all 3 of these will be there fighting for the North Florida's #1 ranking. The Bombers finally have some real competition.

G-Man: The lesson we all learned from the ATL S-NIT is that if a really good team can fill just a couple of holes in their roster, they can become great. The Lightning showed me some tenacity (battling back in games, never giving up, ect.) in the Elite 24 last year, and they were not "padding" anything in that one. They were just a horse or two short.
I wonder if there are 1 or 2 more Elite caliber players in their area that they can pick up.

Not that I am aware of. There might be players there they could develop or someone could move in to the area, someone could switch teams or they could pick up someone from outside that area. However based on my observations they are more than a couple of players short. |
