My 13 son used the 2012 Rawlings Plasma BBCOR this past season for Jr HS and had great success with it.
I originally purchased the bat as a practice/cage bat partly due to the low price but, after swinging it for a few weeks he didn’t want to change it out.
A quick report on the bat: Really well balanced, nice trampoline off the 2-5/8” barrel, quality grip, and excellent durability. Been buying bats for travel ball since he was 8 and to be honest it’s the least expensive and best value bat I’ve purchased.
I'll second that. My son used the same bat. This year he is moving up to a 34". The 2013 model looks to be the same bat, new paint job, same great, low price. He had many quality AB's and hits.
