Combat has just released a very limited run of drop 12 USSSA big barrel bats starting at 26" and going through 30".
The guys at Dalton Sports, who regualary work tournaments in our area, are one of only a handful of dealers nationwide who are getting any. Do you feel this bat will become a norm for the younger age groups or will most kids stick to drop 10's?
Yes -12 's are legal and stamped. Tpx has had two models out all year and now Combat has released one too. I have seen a couple used , but not many. Mostly smaller kids in the age groups.
The drop -12, and ANY bat described as a Jr Big Barrel are Coach ptich bats should NOT be permitted for player pitch games....I find it a bit ridiculous for all of these "new" bats with the "new" stamps on them specifically due to player safety, but yet were still having bat safety idsues....lets just play with wood!!!
