Agree it is hard without seeing the bracket schedule, but with only 10 teams all should make it to elimination play and be eligible for the championship. I agree with some predictions, but disagree strongly on others. The way I see it and based on USSSA records, there are essentially 4 different groups. Group 1: Stealth is clear favorite; Group 2: All American Pride, TPX and Blue Claws close behind; Group 3: Bushnell, Future Baseball and Riverhawks distant third; Group 4: Gators, Top Prospects and Landsharks close behind Group 3.
Here is my prediction (sorry if I offend anyone):
1. Stealth
2. All American Pride
3. Team TPX
4. Blue Claws
5. Team Bushnell
6. Futures Baseball
7. Riverhawks
8. Top prospects
9. Maitland Gators
10. Low Country Landsharks

Based on the bracket Hhawks got the pine tar draw and will fight hard and surprise an unsuspecting high seed in bracket play. They have a new high power pick up from the DR. Still have to drop them one or two spots as the pool record will hurt them in placing.
TPX got a difficult draw and that will drop them one spot flipping the Pride up based on the ease of one of that teams games.
Look for the Blue Claw group to gain confidence pull out of thier slump with a cake draw and from what we hear at the Grounds a key pickup.
Still have to go with Stealth but had to flip a coin after convo with Pride skipper.

Looks like the WF Young Guns have a new addition.
And the team that lost that player picked up an absolute stude to answer you 5269 Fans who has a cannon arm (lefty), hits laser beam shots and can play any position with solid D all around. They will be a force if that is the case. Game changer on that end for sure.

Jacksonville Blue Claws over Lowcountry Landsharks 19 - 0 Jacksonville Blue Claws dominated with defense and bats. This team has come together as a team since a few weeks back. Lower level pitching looked dominate and dominated every inning. They have saved pitching with the quick dispatch.
Limited coverage due to Tim Tebow Foundation Celebrity Golf Classic, limited staff and directive to cover nationaly ranked 11u team. |

All might not be as advertised with the Claws. IDK just thinking out loud. Loss to the Future Baseball Club?

Future Baseball Club over Jacksonville Blue Claws 5 - 4 Blue Claws club gets pinched by Future Baseball by trying to sneak past pool play with reduced pitching lineup. A never say die attitude for Future allowed them to eek out the victory. They are much improved from a few weeks back and you can see the development offensively, defensively and mentally. Maybe a surprise team in this tourney of parity. |

Yep 5269 you may be right. From what I saw a little boost was all they needed to knock out that victory. But no new gamechanger in sight.
Our team did very well today. Quite proud of them.
In hindsight, I quite possibly should have laid odds on Team Bushnell and not the Pride but tomorrow is a new day.

Thanks 5220! Looks like we wore them plum out based on their next game and from what I hear. I am very proud of how our boys played, coaches coached and parents acted all throughout and especially in our last tilt. To say the least I think that when another teams' coaches and parents are obnoxious with players showing too much emotion it detrimentally affects the other team but they have to tune that out. That is all I will say on the subject! Not bad for a true AAA team.

You need to stick to 13u ball. Stealth over TPX 5-4 in championship. What a great game. TPX had bases loaded with one out in top of 6th before a double play to the pitcher that ended it.

On the outcome. Exactly! That is the difference between a Major and a AAA team and coaching.
