Our staff and I were surprised to see a player at the SNIT in Atlanta on the Stealth that pitched for another team at the Lake City SNIT and it appears his team had games mentioned on this blog in a different area this past weekend. Is that Kosher only if the coach from his/her main team allows it? How often does this occur?
The situation you described above was a hot topic at Mizuno Championship in St Aug. Word around the fields was the player's normal team was not happy that this player was in Atlanta while his teammates were playing in St Aug. May be an issue affecting the team through the spring. Hope not because very good team. Coaching staff clearly has a touchy situation on its hands.
That parent should be made to apologize to the team for leaving them in the lurch or they do not return. 99% of the time the kid does not want to be dragged to a team that he does not gel with and be forced to play! All because he can hit a baseball or throw a bit harder than some other kid. Why it is youth baseball. Sickening!!!!

Rarely, if ever, is a 12 year old egomaniacal! Has to be parent based. Classic case for teenage sports burnout.
