THIS WAS MY FIRST TRIP TO COOPERSTOWN AND I'LL TELL YOU I HAVE NEVER HAD SOO MUCH FUN. JUST WATCHING THE KIDS RUNNING AROUND TRADING PINS (I EVEN GOT CAUGHT UP IN TRADING AND MAKING DEALS FOR THE SPECIAL PINS)TO MAKING FRIENDS WITH THE OTHER TEAMS.
THE SCORPIONS WENT TO COOPERSTOWN KNOWING THEY WERE GOING TO WIN THE WHOLE THING. MOST DIDN'T THINK THEY WOULD EVEN COME CLOSE.AFTER EACH WIN YOU COULD SEE THE EXCITMENT IN EACH KIDS FACE GROW AFTER EACH WIN AND THEY KNEW THEY WERE GOING TO TAKE THE CHAMPIONSHIP HOME.WHEN YOU WOULD GO TO THE TENT TO EAT OR TO THE BATTING CAGES YOU COULD SEE THE OTHER TEAMS WOULD START ASKING, ARE YOU GUYS THE "SCORPIONS" THE KIDS TOOK IN IN STRIDE.IN OUR LAST 3 TOURNAMENTS WE WENT 20-2 (INCLUDING THE LOSS IN COOPERSTOWN)AGAINST A LOT OF GREAT TEAMS.
THERE WAS A LOT OF PRESSURE DURING THE GAMES AT COOPERSTOWN AND OUR YOUNG MEN HUNG IN THERE.AFTER THE GAME THEY TURNED BACK INTO LITTLE BOYS WANTING THEIR MOMMYS AND DADS.DURING THE SEASON THEY LEARNED HOW TO PLAY THE PROPER WAY BUT MOST OF ALL THEY LEARNED TO LOSE AND HOLD THEIR HEADS UP WITH PRIDE.
I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO PROUD TO BE WITH A GROUP OF YOUNG MEN WHO HAVE GROWN UP SO MUCH IN THE LAST YEAR.
THE SCORPIONS PLAYED HARD, FROM THE EVERYDAY PLAYER TO OUR ROLE PLAYERS. OUR ROLE PLAYERS PLAYED THE BIGGEST PART OF OUR WINS ALL YEAR,MOST OF ALL IN COOPERSTOWN THEY WERE GREAT COMING OFF THE BENCH GETTING TIMELY HITS, TO HOMERUNS, TO GREAT PITCHING WHEN WE NEEDED IT.
MY ONLY REGRET WAS THAT THE PLAYERS WHO LEFT OUR TEAM FOR WHAT EVER REASON, NEVER GOT A CHANCE TO BE A PART OF THE SCORPION "DREAM".

YOU GAVE UP A LOT TO BE A PART OF THIS. THANK YOU!
YOU BELIEVED IN WHAT WE WERE DOING. THANK YOU!
TO EVERYONE INVOLVED IN SCORPION BASEBALL ACADEMY, THANK YOU!
TO DANNY PRALGO AND THE 643 DP PROGRAM: FOR SETTING THE BAR HIGH IN CLASS AND HIGH STANDARDS
YOU GAVE THE SCORPION PROGRAM THE CREDIT DUE WHEN NO ONE ELSE WOULD. THANK YOU!
MOST OF ALL TO MY 12U SCORPIONS:
YOU GAVE ME BACK THE JOY AND EXCITEMENT OF PLAYING,COACHING THE BEST GAME OF ALL TIME,
" BASEBALL "
THERE IS NO MORE JOY IN THIS WORLD THAN TO WATCH A KID GET A KEY HIT AND COME BACK TO THE DUGOUT WITH THAT BIG  " SMILE " ON HIS FACE.

Hats off to the coaches! What a great job with this team and a real class act up there. We are very proud to be part of this team this year and to have these memories. Thank you!
Every one of these 12 boys stepped up big at some point and it was awesome to watch. No "hired guns" like some of the other teams but still made it to 5th place!

| Great job Scorpions. Georgia baseball has shown steady improvement over the past few years and this year has been one of the best ever. I have known Coach Steve for several years now and I am so happy for him and his team and I am so proud of the way you have represented our great State. Good luck to the Scorpion family and we hope to see you guys soon. |

| Sounds as though you had a great tournament. Looked at the Cooperstown Web and seen it for myself, Excellent playing. Is it a fact or just hear say. Are the Scorpions SBA moving over to ECB? If its so, that's too bad, takes away another option for kids to play ball in another great enviroment. |

ONLY THE 13U TEAM WILL BASED OUT OF ECB. THEY WILL KNOWN AS THE ECB SCORPIONS.THE REST OF THE ACADEMY WILL BE BASED OUT OF HOLLY SPRINGS AND ADCOCK FIELD: 8U,9U,10U,11U,12U SCORPION BASEBALL ACADEMY ( SBA )quote:
