Would like to have opinions on the top five Majors in this border battle as they are playing now. My take is:
GA 1. EC Braves = Growing weekly 2. Ga Grays = Raw Talent 3. Middle Georgia Moccasins = fair to say hot hot hot 4. EC Longhorns = best kept secret 5. Stealth Bombers = missing link
FL 1. Team FL = Battle of South says it all 2. Fla Rays = want to see a Team FL showdown 3. Florida Pokers = Consistently good 4. Crossfire Baseball = Power, pitching, best kept secret 5. Jacksonville BlueClaws Navy = solid D

I tell you what, that would much more interesting then what was set up the first time. Who wouldn't get excited seeing a Team Florida/Braves games?? Too bad we will probably not get to see it this season.
Middle GA owns one win over the other teams, would like to see how they do this weekend against the big boys. I would pick the EC Rays over middle GA, put them in this order:
1) Stealth - A few losses but still the top dog. 2) Braves - Having a good year, tough to duplicate last season. 3) Grays - Playing much better as season has gone on. 4) EC Longhorns - Owns one win over each of the top three, not sneaking up on anyone now. 5) EC Rays/Shiloh/Middle GA - you can make a valid arguement for any of these teams.
Bottom line is the major division has become deep in GA, not just the top two and everyone else.

Nice to be considered among the best in majors but just a few months ago we were a legitimate AAA team. We are still the same team that lost to the AAA Hobgood Thrashers in extra innings and 6-4-3 by several a few weeks ago in the Battle Of the South. I would tend to give the edge to the Braves-Longhorns-Stealth-Rays-(Grays/Shiloh/6-4-3)in that order. The Florida list seems spot on . A few more months to go and everyone will be talking about which teams spilt up/picked up players etc. |

The talk has already started about who is going where and what teams wil not be in existence next year especially here in SFL. Those Florida teams should for the most part stay intact and some will play in the fall.quote: Originally posted by moccs
