I don't understand shiloh. According to them the reason for not playin in major state was a few kids have tired arms but they find another tournement to get in. Oh well none of my buisness just thought kinda odd. |

I sometimes read, but rarely respond to this forum. I wanted to clarify regarding a comment above. Parkview is entered in the Winder Cooperstown Showdown. We are not entered in the AAU State tournament. Last week, I sent an email inquiring about the tournament to Dino. It was clearly only an inquiry and we did not enter the tournament. Presently, our team is not even registered with AAU. Dino made an honest mistake and included us in the bracket. When we discovered the mistake on Tuesday, we immediately informed Dino who is taking corrective steps.
Thanks for the opportunity to clarify |

Well they listed in the schedule for the nations tournament too.
if they are in the Nations Tourney then I would be floored!!! I might can understand them in Nations if there wasnt baseball anywhere else but theres a Majors tourney at ECB, a AAA tourney in West Walton, and a mix of AAA/Major at AAU. Entering the AA/AAA tourney wouldn't be fair to all them teams.
Anybody disagree?

Things don't always work out as you would like. We (Shiloh) are missing a couple of our players this week, so the usssa major state tourney wasn't a real option. Can't play in the aaa monroe tourney either because of our classification. Was hoping to play in the aau, but couldn't (after many efforts) to get confirmation we were in, and had to commit to Winder by Tuesday. This weekend is the first time all season we haven't played in the top tournament.
Patriots and Parkview are very solid teams, any my guess is that we will not play any aa teams this weekend. Was really hoping to play in a tourney with more teams to play more games, but it didn't work out that way. Shannon Ivey in Winder does a great job with his events, so are looking forward to playing some good ball this weekend.
Just the facts. |

titans- You said you couldn't get confirmation but you were listed as one of the teams and scheduled to play Thursday night at 8pm. Is there more to the story than a confirmation cause Parkview was scheduled to play as well then they backed out too. Just wondering cause it's not making sense to me when the first set of pool brackets that were put out had both you and Parkview in. Doesn't matter why you pulled out but can't find where the confusion on confirmation is. |

I don't know the parkview team but Panther1's post makes sense. It don't matter, they a AAA team and playing AAA in Winder.
I'm wit goingyard & don't get titans excuses, seen them on the AAU site last week and they was in. |
