How does a major team (Hornets) play in AAA NIT? What am I missing?

You are missing the part that they are a AAA team.

They are a great hitting team...42-8 against AAA and below...Have no idea why they aren't a major team...

They are ranked as a Majar team now and was before the Super NIT I dont understand How it works for some teams and not others.Is it who you know?

According to USSSA site, they played in a tournament this past weekend in Memphis and won the AAA division while the East Cobb Mudcats won the major division. Congratulations to both programs.
