Pulpwood thinks there's there gonna be some shake up at the top this weekend. Ain't been this much talent in a tournament since the SNIT. Should seperate the contenders from the pretenders. Any predictions boys?

It would be better if the Braves and Astros were in it. Astros will be in NC, not sure about the Braves.

Pulp, we must've looked at a different "who's coming" list.

without the astros in it, the big target will be on the 45's, they are battle-tested and are the clear favorite, semper fi!

45's, Braves , chili Dogs, is plenty enough to raise eye brows in this tournament. Dont need the Astros to make a great "who's coming list" alot of good teams mixed with some great teams should be a great tournament. My prediction is 45's verse Stars. Just my hunch!!!

Agree with pop.... SNIT much stronger field over all but anything could happen. 45,HP, RR, Braves, etc... would be favorites with some good teams right behind them

Looks like clear weather for a great weekend of baseball. After 3 weeks off, I just hope our chilidogs can take a ground ball off real dirt. Uncle "chuck" gives us the Sunday hops. I agree with Smoke though, the 45's are the Clear Favorites. I think our boys had fun at the beach Smoke! Crablegs, and all!

Well the schedule is out and based on what I see this is VALIDATION WEEKEND. There are some great matchups in pool play. One of the most notable being Friday night’s game between Hp and the Knoxville Stars. Clearly the reining Atlanta SNIT Champion Chilidogs are the team to beat this weekend but a question remains, are they legit or was the win in McDonough a flash in the pan. They should certainly be well rested having taken the last 4 weeks off to savior their surprising victory but only time will tell if they are strong enough to win north of I-20 and finally put a lid on the northside naysayers.

Why are they making changes once again?? Can they not get it right the first time or are coaches calling and complaining about their pool play match ups? This is getting old!

That win in McDonough was a "flash in the pan." And those other 4 tournament wins, they were also "flashes in the pan." That's 5 flashes in that pan if you're keeping track. It's only been 3 weeks since we "surprised" you, and trust me they were not resting. They will be there ready to play.

Thats a bold statement whit. I don't think anyone is doubting your squad anymore. We will see what the chilidogs have cooking in that pan this weekend. They are the team to beat. If they are still undefeated this time next week we will know who number 1 is. I expect the Roadrunners and Colt 45s to meet for the championship if the brackets allow. Otherwise you may see the knoxville team or homeplate in the championship.

Good luck this weekend Darnell you guys deserve it...not quite sure though about the shots a HP's legitimacy..a team winning 5 straight tourneys, is 21-1 (13-1 in class), including wins over good majors like Stixx (twice), EC Pride(twice), EC Xtream, MGBA Braves, Sharon Springs,Elite Gamers, NC Diamond Cutters, Beyel Brothers, etc..., and just won the SNIT in ATL to qualify for E32....what's your beef with HP? Lets just all play baseball and have some fun...good luck!!!!

Still very interesting that with 6 East Cobb teams in this Tourney, not once does an East Cobb team see another East Cobb team in pool play. Must be an unwritten rule.

I predict this weekend will belong to the 45's. With the Astro's out of state the 45's will step out of the Astro's shadow and finally win one.

Seriously?!! EC teams have met many times in pool play in many Triple Crown Tournaments. Lets not start slamming EC again.

Does not sound like they are slamming EC...sounds like a slamming of Triple Crown. However, I know there is 'politics' involved in the setting up of pool play of any tournament...this one as well. It is evident that the design is for EC not to play EC in pool play for whatever reason.

I almost spilled my coffee on myself trying not to laugh....

The pool bracket schedule for every TC event are still online, check them out for yourself.

http://www.triplecrownsports.com/search_results.asp?eventType=tourny&sportid=1&stateid=10

Spring Frost - once (5 teams)
Slugfest - never (7 teams)
March Mayhem - never (3 teams)
Dalton - never (2 teams)
Back to school brawl - never (6 teams)

Statistical probability that this is a pure random occurance 0.0001%
