It's a week early, but here is the link to our
GWS Pick the Winners Contest
For players participating in our tournament, the winner wins a 2011 Rawlings 5150 bat. For fans/parents, you can also participate (no prize though). All we ask is that you make a donation to one of the families on our Donate for a Cause page.
I'll have the winners and places on our website. We've gotten a lot of entries so far and I think the kids will have a lot of fun keeping track of how their picks are doing.

Another team just dropped out of our tourney Thurs night. They said they were missing 4 players due to MS ball. Billy - I offered them your 4 to fill in but they didn't call me back. I see they are signed up somewhere else. I hope that's not true.
Unless I find a replacement, we will have to drop 3 other teams that have not paid from our tourney as we cannot have less than 4 in a region. If anyone wants to play, please let me know ASAP at gajacketsbaseball@gmail.com. All players & coaches get a free pass to the Georgia International Auto Show.
Contest entries will be re-set when the brackets are re-released. I apologize for the changes. Everyone loves this format and I believe it will be a great test of talent, but it definitely has its challenges.

We did fill our spot with the EC Renegades. Thanks to coach Bishop for filling in. Hopefully nobody else will drop out.
New brackets will be out soon. There will be some re-shuffling coaches so please check back tonight. |

Scores / Pitching updates
We have set up a website specific for viewing scores and pitching on your mobile phone. We'll update scores inning-by-inning if anyone wants to text us scores at the end of each inning of their team's game. If you want to help, email me at gajacketsbaseball@gmail.com and I'll send you a mobile phone # to text.
I have checked with the hosting website about extra bandwidth for this weekend but they tell me they'll handle the traffic easily. I hope they're right.

Live Scores / Play-by-Play
If anyone uses iScore of GameChanger to keep your team's book and you have a live connection to the internet, please email me and I'll provide a link to the play-by-play from our website so fans can follow your game live. Again, the email is gajacketsbaseball@gmail.com.
Pictures
If you have pictures from your Region that you would like to share, you can also email us and we'll post some on the website. I don't need all that you take, but if you want to send a few good ones, they'll be much appreciated.

Mark,seeing the scores updated in the late game last night was really cool. Maybe my priorities are out of order to most but seeing the iscore app on the ipad is the best advertisement i have seen for the ipad. I gotta get one. Shame they don't sell those at one of the website sponsors.

| Will the pitching records be updated for Sunday's games. I am interested to see who the 2 additional pitchers the Rookies brought on Sunday were. Are they both regular players or guest players? |
