I am assuming you are addressing me. Not sure if your comment was written before my "oops" got in there. The board has gotten really slow about letting responses through. Real pain.

Not wanting to argue, but my comments were with respect to stealing kids away in the middle of a season and the manner in which it is done. Also about the right time to leave a team. I strongly believe in getting rid of the kids that just don't cut it. I also believe everyone needs to come to the practices and work hard. Now there are exceptions to everything, but that's not what we are talking about here.

Of course if a player doesn't show up for practices, doesn't try, drags down the team. The coach needs to talk to them and if they don't pick it up they need to be cut. If a player is really unhappy on a team, it isn't good for anyone. Then they should try to find another team, hopefully as soon as possible. But I don't think anyone would argue with these type of exceptions.

I'm not talking about someone's pocketbook. Don't make it about that.
