It looks like the ATL Angels made the elimination rounds and got beat 6-3 by the TJ Stars in the first round. They are A team built with kids from San Diego Area and TJ mexico.

The Semi Finals have All Calif teams except for TJ Stars. OC Dodgers,So Cal Outlaws and Oakley Stingrays.

They were missing there number 2 and number 5 hitters in there lineup. The 2 kids also were also pitchers.

I will say this my hat goes off to them and the step they made by going out there. One thing about it now they have shown the rest of us the way and the west will see more of the Georgia teams play.

I heard they picked up a couple of players to sub for the ones who weren't able to go, but good job anyway Angels! You should get another chance to play them next year at the Elite 32 in Florida.

Let's Hope some of the Older age groups take notice and Travel out West. Hats off to the Angels for making the trip out to the wild west. I am sure they will grow from it and will be a better team. I am sure you will get a crack at all those teams at the Elites next year.

Enough with all the "They didn't have all their players". I am sure they went with the best they had and added some better talent. Just tip your hat to the teams that won and move on. Excuses are for Losers.

I wasn't making any excuses, we have played against the Angels for the last 3 years and was curious who wasn't able to make it out.....I'm sure thing will be settled at the Elite 32, especially with the travel times being the other way around.

I really don't know who is going to play for the top dog spot. I don't know who is going to wear the crown of being the best 8u team in Georgia. I don't have not one idea of what is going to happen. But I can say this we are going to play hard and play to the end.

Also thank you for the congrats on the final four berth. It was a little tough cause you had to have your pitchers in line. We had to play 2 games but if we had to play 3 we had two with 3 left and one with 6. We only had 9 kids as well so we was in a mess. The HP Dogs I tell you this they are going to give somebody a problem next year. Some people don't think so but that team we had to play the whole time to win.

Alright, I have not been watching coach pitch much. Kid pitch is much more like real baseball.
What do you guys see at the 8u state championship tournament this weekend? Will Atlanta Angels still dominate or will they fall.
Everyone is being quiet.

So far the Angels have not dissappointed...we have one more test with the upcoming USSSA World Series. The Final Four proved to be more of a test for the Bulldogs and the Yard Dogs Red than they expected. The Grays represented well and are a good hitting team..But even their bats weren't strong enough to hold off the Angels..

Thank you man we just a few kids away from being able to play with you all on a match up level. But good luck to you all in the WS next weekend. Like I posted the battle for the best in the ATL is over it's for the coast to coast crown now. So I have to change the way my team is built to make it to the 32 dance next year. The only thing weere not building and playing just to get there. So it's another battle for next year. See you at the top ATLDEE.

@Andre6 we all are now on the elite 32 hunt...why aren't you all doing the World Series? each year brings forth new challenges and new teams...just look how close the 9U teams are this year...and most of those teams no one heard about last year... So you know it is going to be even harder next year but we look forward to it.. GOOD LUCK to you//

We have played with 9 kids up until this last event. The core of our pitching staff is wore out man. One kid our left hander had a bad football injury he healed but it took something out of him. Then for us we have to ride on some kids hard to get us through. So we said we would re-group and call it the day. We knew this going into the State and the Final Four was it for us. So we are going to work and get better until we see each other again.
