ok sports fans...my son broke his Combat...thin barrel. His hitting coach wants him to go to a bigger barrel. What are the top 3 bats and why? He is a strong kid and hits it hard (mostly). |

Hmmm......I wonder who this is???
If you goto baseballcorner.com I'm pretty sure they still have a bat review section. When we bought our last bat I looked there and found several bats have 30-50 bat reviews. Should help you out

I have seen more and more kids hitting the Easton Speed bats, haven't heard of many issues with denting yet. |

Is the Speed a composite bat? I have heard all composite bats will be banned. Is this true. What do you all think about the Prodigy, EXO or Dynastu series of bats? |

I don't think it's composite but an alloy bat. At least that's what it says on a couple of websites I looked on. |

Hi All -
Here's a good reference that folks can use. Its a baseball bat reviews forum, very similar to what we have here on nwgabaseball. Folks like you and I can open threads and get feedback on how bats are performing from other parents.

Good luck finding a bat, but research will help to find a good one, and go with the bat your son is most comfortable swinging. |

J We have had great hitting with the new Nike alloy bat. The ball explodes off it! It has composite handle and alloy barrel. This last weekend at ATPP my son hit the ball sooo hard with it, the left fielder broke his cup from missing the ground ball. Thank god he was wearing a cup!quote: Originally posted by Jacked-up
