Jackhammers were especially bad with yelling while the pitcher was in windup. |

I actually didn't notice with the JackHammers but they weren't as good as I had hoped they would be.....Is Louisiana a weak state or is it just the 10s in LA??? |

Can Ga sweep the 10's?
I have not checked the list but I am bettin a Ga. team can make it 3 straight in Session 3. For the Attack and Iron Pigs here is what I learned in our week.
You will have to win about 3 games 2-1 or 3-2. Ever game came down to who made the one big hit. We saw great pitchers and even better defenses. Get ready to stomach some gut wrencing at bats.
Your # 3 or # 4 pitcher will have to win a game that you did not think he could.
Throw STRIKES!!!! Let me say that again THROW STRIKES!!
One thing we did was we pitched everybody (who would pitch later) 1 inning in the pool games. We honestly did not care how we did in the games we just wanted all of the boys to get the butterflies out.
We lost both pool games but all of them pitched great later.
Last but not least. Tell your short stop to make every play and 3 special ones. If all goes well it is the shortest ride back to Ga you will ever have.
Make sure some one has a pick up truck because that trophy is awesome.
Have fun and bring back # 3. |

Congrats Spartan,
I thought you guys would be the favorite to win, none of the other teams were as deep as the Titans were. Personally, I didn't think those TX teams are all that good, too bad we struggled to hit otherwise I felt we were good enough to finish in the top 3. The weather was outstanding all week and the level of competition was better then I expected.

Our team really enjoyed W.S. Session 2. There were some real solid teams, and we enjoyed watching and playing the non-Georgia teams since we try and play games close to our Gwinnett county homes. The 3 Texas teams were very competitive, and we played the Lufkin team twice. In the Championship game, the kid they threw against us was the best pitcher we have faced in the last two years. The Jackhammer team from LA played small ball against us and jumped to a 6-0 lead in the 2nd inning. Contrary to what Spartan4 posted, our boys didn't play horrible and they showed alot of character battling back and getting to the final game. Hobgood and the EC Outlaws had good runs, just a play or two away from advancing either further.
Overall a very satisfying week. Great weather, no oil on the beaches, and our boys played fantastic all week. A very nice way to end our successful 2010 Titan season. |

We will give it our best shot. We are going down with the same 11 players that we played with in 95% of our games. We as a coaching staff disussed early in the year if we wanted to pick anyone up for the WS and decided that our boys have worked have and done all that we asked and deserved to go to Flordia and win or lose as our team! (unless someone gets hurt the next 2 weeks)
I have nothing against teams that pick up players, we just are not going to do it this year. We have had our ups and downs and if we can put it all together we will do fine!

Titans is right I shouldn't have said horrible, we had played almost perfect defense up to that point and I do think we made more errors that game than the rest of the tourney, that combined with the Jackhammers playing some small ball(bunts really die on sand fields) they put up 6 runs pretty early. The team really did fight back extremely hard and that is one of the things I have noticed about this team for two years. Down 10 or up 10 they do play the same, which is a lot more than I can say for some other teams we have played on in the past.

I am excited and ready for some travel ball! My Cardinal player had a short Allstar run with a disappointing ending Hope we can pull it together for a good showing

Pretty sure that's an all star team since the only 10U team out of that park were the thrashers. |
