I have been in travel ball for a while and am not genius but do understand most things. Having said that i am totally confused on usssa qualifications for world series etc. I get the following answers when asking directors how do i go to a world series. 1. You have to play in a sub state and or state. 2. oh you also have to play in 3 tournaments that are usssa sanctioned. 3. yes you did finish 4th out of 5 teams but your roster is frozen as all of those already qualified so we pass it down.
sounds simple but then call another director and get other answers. No you dont have to play in sub state if your in 13AAA or 14AAA just the state. When do they tell you you have to play in 3 tourneys and why are qualifiers after state tourneys? Also why are the state tourneys not located anywhere near the atlanta area where most teams are from.? Sometimes its just easier to play in what you know you can play in instead of trying to qualify. OH and another word for qualify is PAY..each events wants you to have to jump through hoops and keep your money with them so they tie you up to their events and its not just USSSA but that is the easierst target. OH and then the say that you are also qualified for GLOBAL..WTH is that and now what do i need to do to play in those?? Cant there be a better way
