 How early does your team get to the field?		  New Topic  Reply to Topic

Just curious, how early does your coach have your players arrive at the field for a game? Does it change if it's a double header? High School age teams, please.

1 hour usually, no change for double header.

For high school the only exception is if the game is at 5pm, school lets out at 3:30pm, then it is get there as soon as possible.

For travel ball the only time it was less than an hour is if it was an 8am game an hour away sometimes coach says 7:30am.

All high school teams I have coached or played for was 1.5 hours before scheduled game time. (Summertime obviously)

It allows for the roster of 12-15 hitters to hit pre-game but also allows for pre-game throwing routines to be completed.
