Has anyone here purchased their uniforms from Uniforms Express in San Diego? They just sent me a huge box of samples and it all seems like great stuff. We're just worried about dealing with a company that far away. Please share any thoughts or experience you have working with them. Thanks |

Are they offering that much better pricing (after shipping) than the local companies?
Talk to Elite Sports East Cobb and tell them what pricing you are getting. Maybe they can work with you and keep that money locally, not to mention patronizing one of the sponsors of this board. |

I have always ordered from a place not local, the prices on line are always better than the local places and believe it or not service is better. Shirts are usually about $8 cheaper and hats are same.
bags and helmets are always drastically cheaper on line..remember not every place in the world charges atlanta based prices |

Better Baseball if buying some qty. on bags and helmets have taken care of us in the past. If you talk to them they will give you a discount I bet to keep the business local. |

Yea, the hard part about competing with on-line sites is they don't usually have as much facility overhead, or they are doing enough volume to keep the costs lower. (ala Better Baseball who built their on-line business before their local foot traffic.)
I will have to say, though, I have gone in and bargained with local places to match what I was going to get from an on-line site and except for Dick's Sporting Goods, they have met it. |

I have always used local vendors just because they are in the community. Each year I rotated to give somebody else business. I know you can get it cheaper online but I told the vendor of choice that year that I was using them for that reason and that I wanted to keep my business local. Once said I received a decent discounted price and a place to go if I needed to change things or add players.
Uniform providers make some money off the garment but they really make their money on lettering.

I have ordered both football and baseball uniforms from Uniform Express and all I can say is they are the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!! My sales agent is a guy name Brendon and he is very creative and informative. The quality of thier products and the design detail will seperate your team from the rest this year. A++++++++++++++ rating you cant go wrong with them. |

We used that company about 3 years ago..... best uniforms ive seen. for the price and quality i would recommend them. just have to be very accurate with all your specs. had issues with the hats. they made numerous mistakes.. ( corrected all of them ) but have a backup plan for first week or so of season. you will have to order soon to get them for an early season start unless you pay the possible rush fees. this company is reputable and very professional. your team will look good in these uniforms. |

Yes we used Uniforms Express for unis this past year. Stitched team name across front with number on front and back. They are really, really nice. Now they are a bit on the heavy side and hard to wear in the Summer heat, but can't beat price and looks. Like their graphical dept. giving numerous different looks..
What we did, we ordered 2 extras jerseys just for guest player or if player moves on you have additional, good thing to do..Also the YXL will fit more kids than you think, the AL is really big. Majority of ours was YXL and AS with couple AM..
We also bought hats from them and they outsourced them to Richardson hats out in Oregon. All in all pretty good experience. Want to say jersery ran like $48 for youth and $52 for Adult but that was custom with tackle twill..Local shops will be hard to beat that. |
