My son received the BB5150A: Alloy - 32/29 as a replacement for his Plasma Gold and does not care for the 5150. He loved the Plasma Gold. They must have a different weight distribution. Looks like we will be selling our used one.

My son has the alloy and it is actually balanced poorly (the bat feels very heavy, especially on the end) and he barely uses it. It was pretty much wasted money. Good looking bat but not great in a game. Also, it sounds dull when you hit a live pitch.

My son also was disappointed with the 5150 -5 Alloy. Luckily, we found someone with a lone -5 plasma Gold that he loves. Gamebat only. Cant even compare the two. I heard that Rawlings lost the patent on the liquidmetal. Not sure if it is true. Also, the paint has chipped off after very little use.

My son went to the -8.5 Drop 31 inch , 5150 and loves it. It does have a dent so we wil get a replacement.
