Congrats to the boys on the 10 U East Cobb Longhorns for bringing Georgia Baseball another championship !

The Longhorns represented Ga. Baseball well in Nashville this weekend going undefeated ( 6-0 )and
winning 15-0 , 15-2 , 19-5 , 18-5, 5-2 and then winning the gold championships against a very good Knoxville Stars team in a great (rain shortened) game 1-0 .

These boys have continued to play hard and fight through a long , hot season, And this was a great way to wind up the year on a winning note as 2009 SYSA/USSSA Music City Nationals 10u Champs !!

Im very proud of you boys!

Papa has also heard this rumor that the Longhorns and Tigers might combine. Wow, What a team this would be. Bandits could be looking for a big hitter if anyone knows where one is.

Good job longhorns. I thought all the big hitters left the longhorns in the fall. Is there another one on the market because, we are looking for a big hitter also.

I am proud for all the kids. They worked very hard and overcame a lot to go and take care of business. I give them all the credit and am very lucky to be at the helm of a great group of parents and kids. Coach is very proud of his Horns! (Could not resist) Love you Papa...Horns and Tigers are on for next year.

Thanks Big Stick,
Unfortunately the economy is forcing us to leave travel ball. As a new home builder I have been out of work for 8 months now and it does not seem to be getting any better, and we will not be able to afford East Cobb again. We have had three very good years there, and my son has had some great coaching and instruction, competition and experiences.

The coaching he has received at EC has helped him to be in the high 400's to 500's as a hitter and around 80 - 100 stolen bases a season and a very solid defensive player. So he has a great base to build from thanks to the guys he has played for.

To answer your question, as I understand it , the tigers/longhorns teams are combining and I cannot answer for the hitter in question.
