Just returned from an incredible message during church service this morning and I couldn't resist posting. Our pastor is a former collegiate baseball pitcher which also adds great flavor to his messages
Prior post of "Are you over the top"...."Parental involvement"...."Ethics & actions" ..... and many others can all be lumped into a heading titled THINK.
Parents, Fans, Coaches and Players always remember to THINK before WE speak. The tongue is one of the smallest parts of the human body that can have some of the greatest and largest impact!
Before we speak let's make an effort to simply THINK:
T = Truthful...Is what you are saying Truthful? H = Honest ... Is what you are saying Honest? I = Inspiring ... Is what you are saying Inspirational? N = Necessary ... Is what you are going to say Necessary? K = Kind ... Is what you are going to say Kind?
If not, the words might just be best suited not to be spoken.
some of us can control it better than others. Of those who can control it, some do so with much greater strength (mental acuity) than others who THINK they can control it.
And then there are those irrationals. Most of us are in the first group. its the others that make it difficult for the rest.
How about the jokers that cannot control it, don't care and don't know they can't control it? Not fun.
