The Georgia Sports Center in Loganville is hosting it's 1st Annual Indoor Winter Hitting League. The League kicks off on December 1st with a Hitting Clinic hosted by Georgia Gwinnett College's Baseball Team and Staff.
What is the Georgia Sports Center Winter Hitting League?
- The GSC Winter Hitting League is a fun way to stay in shape and keep your swing tuned throughout the off-season. Our League consists of teams of 3 players that compete against other teams in a 6 game Winter Season. Points are earned based on execution in situational hitting circumstances. There will be a tournament at the end of the League where the teams with the best records will compete in a play-off for League Championships.
What are the age groups for the Winter Hitting League?
- Baseball: 8u, 10u, 12u, 14u and 18u
- Softball: 9u, 12u, 15u and 18u
When does the Winter Hitting League begin?
- The GSC Winter Hitting League will begin on December 1st with a Hitting Clinic hosted by Georgia Gwinnett College's Baseball Team and Staff. Games will be played on Friday evenings or on Saturday's. If a team cannot make their game time, it is their responsibility to make-up the game during the week.
What prizes are available?
- Winning teams will receive the following: Customized wooden bats, batting gloves and EvoShield elbow guard.
