Current Atlanta Braves superstar Matt Diaz is hosting a 6 hour Baseball Camp November 3rd in Peachtree City and Marietta! Registration is only $95 for 6 hour camp with Diaz and Rome Braves starting pitcher Alex Wood and autographs! Camp is for all players ages 6-15 and will focus on agility training, batting mechanics, simulated game situations, as well as role modeling and leadership. Matt Diaz is a current Atlanta Braves outfielder and a 9 year major league veteran. After leading Florida State University to two College World Series appearances where he was the 1998 Sporting News Man of the Year and First Team All American, Diaz was drafted by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Diaz has had his most success in his six seasons as an Atlanta Brave where he is a career .292 hitter including batting .325 for the Braves in 2005 and tied a National League record with 10 straight hits in 2006!
