Good points.. all I know is I am going to have my son ready when he misses a ball to either pretend a bug flew in his eyes or the sun/lights were in his eyes. Does running across the outfield on a choppy ground constitute an error? I am just wondering where it becomes the players fault. Last one I promise. Same scenario as initial one about first baseman missing ball on what should have been infield fly. No lights no sun, but a parent from the other team screams... miss it... error or hit? any different from the lights or act of God?
