I feel your pain, but you need to be a bit more understanding and flexible, especially for fall tournaments. Most teams will verbally commit, but not pay and are typically scrambling for players around other sports. Alot of tourney directors are scrambling on the phones Tuesday, Wednesday, and sometimes as late as Thursday trying to get teams so the tournament can even make because alot of these "committed" teams drop at the last minute, or still haven't paid by the deadline.
What you are experiencing is normal for Fall and early Spring tournamnets. Once teams aren't competing against the other season sports, this typically gets better with the exception of the small or non-brand name tournaments (or those that are USSSA, but run by an individual or park).

I live on the westside and most of this certain organization tournaments is east or south of Atlanta. So I need to make plans based on how early or late we play.
Seems like the schedules are coming out later and later. I will not be playing in anymore tournaments where the brackets are coming out Thursday.
Should be mandatory that the brackets do not come out no later then Wednesday at 12:00
