The State of Georgia (particularly north Georgia) was well represented in national events and events outside the state during the 2011 spring season.

Nice list, thanks for that! Correction though, Sharon Springs Spartans Blue finished 3rd in C'town week 5. Made it to the Final 4 and beat the other semi-finalist head-to-head in pool play.

Great season for Georgia baseball. C'mom Warner Robbins Little League, give us 2 more wins at the Regional's! Watch them live on ESPN2 at 1 PM today (Wednesday) and if they win, Friday night.

I also think the 15u Georgia Stars placed 3rd in the 2011 PG/EC Invitational.

Anyone happen to notice that the 14U Georgia Roadrunners Blue had three of its players make the USA Baseball 14U National Team that will be competing in Venezuela against Argentina, Bahamas, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Panama, and Venezuela?

As long as your handing out kudos for Elite 8 finishes at Cooperstown, the Sandy Plains Wildcats were an Elite 8 finisher for week 7 and finished 5th overall.

9U Oregon Park Sharks defeated the 9U Cherokee Reds for the session 2 Grand Slam World Series Championship. In Session 1, the 9U ECB Longhorns defeated the Powder Springs Indians for the 'ship.
