I know there has been alot of discussion on different threads on this website about which bats are regulation this season.
Can someone list what the rules are for this season? At what age groups are BBCOR bats required? What age groups do not allow composite bats? Usssa is requiring the 1.15bpf stamp on bats, is Triple Crown or anyone else requiring anything else?
I think we all need a nice, easy to understand list of what type of bat everyone needs at each age group 9U+ to buy to be in compliance with all tourneys this season. Maybe one of the sponsors of the website will have already done this work and can list it here.

Adding to Cyc's question, any idea what Cooperstown will do next year with regard to bat regulation?
Only thing found on the website is: Teams provide their own bats for game play (no size or weight restrictions) (NO WOODEN BATS). |

BBCOR only applies to the -3 bats. Part of the qualification for a bat to be certified as BBCOR is that the weight to length ratio must be a maximum drop of 3, so you won't find any drop 5, 8, 9 or 10 listed as a BBCOR. As to requirements, BBCOR was mandatory for non-wood bats for NCAA this past season. They are mandatory for the upcoming GHSA (High School) season.
USSSA/bpf 1.15 - Any bats used in USSSA play for the upcoming season is required to have the NEW USSSA stamp on the bat. Triple Crown/Nations Baseball/AAU/others - I have not seen any rules published that indicate these organizations will mandate use of USSSA stamped bats or have any other restrictions with regard to composite, etc., other than the existing rules that dictate drops required by ages. My guess is that they will either continue to allow any bats to be used (i.e., no restrictions) or they will adopt the USSSA standard. Either way, I haven't seen an official statement from any of these organizations about which way they are going to rule.
Cooperstown - At this time, the only bat restriction they have is "no wood bats". Not sure if they'll change or not.

So it looks like, as of now, below high school ball the only bat restriction is the USSSA stamp. Correct?

Or a BBCOR bat if you want to swing a drop 3 in USSSA.

For USSSA tournaments that is correct. For all the other sanctioning bodies, the jury is still out, however, anything with the new USSSA stamp would be eligible for use in non-USSSA events as of this time.
