The Grand Slam World is in Panama City Beach from July 2nd - 9th. My son's team was originally scheduled to play there but we had to change to a different WS at a different time and place. After an exhaustive search we found a very nice house to stay in for the week and put a deposit on it to hold. Since we had to cancel it the owner (who is very nice) said they would return our deposit once it was rented for that week. I'm sure that it will be because it is booked for several weeks before and after the week we picked, however I thought someone here could enjoy it. It is a 3 BR/ 2 BA house with a POOL not more than a couple of hundred feet from the beach. Also, it is cheaper than any of the high-rise condos in the area. I have no affiliatition with this house other than trying expedite my deposit refund. It is listed on VRBO.com, Listing #78565. Please see for yourself or pass it along.
