| My son played mostly SS,3rd and LF for his select team. Is now playing summer ball and being played at 2nd and right field. Has a good glove but has struggled some at 2nd base. He informed me the other night that "the ball comes off the bat different playing 2nd." Now with all the baseball knowledge on this site, can someone tell me if this is true? I know with fly balls the ball has a hook or slice effect, but is this the case with ground balls? I played outfield from 9 yrs old through high school, had good speed, good bat, but glove was, well lets say I had two left hands. Thanks |
