USSSA web site shows 22 teams signed up, and there are only 4 SNIT's left to be played, so that would leave 6 more spots to fill. It looks like to me, that the teams who qualified have registered to play.

Are there 6 at-large bids? If that's the case, how are these awarded? Does Bubba have one? Anybody out there know?

It appears to take several days to a week for some teams to show up on the list. I would assume the next teams to enter will be KC Barnstormers, OK Liners, Motor City Hitdogs and BC Bulldogs. The other bids should be awarded the next two weekends (2)LA, (1) Ohio, (1) FL and (1)CO. That would leave 1 at-large bid or an extra bid at the last 3 events.

Most of the time they get awarded to florida teams. I know last year all but one at large bids were given to fla teams. However this year I only know of two teams around the Disney area that want bids but haven't qualified. I am guessing that one of those teams will get the bid though.

Also if other teams who are playing in these last few Super Nits finish in the top three and ask for a bid they will most likely get them since 32 teams won't be reached. Teams like Pace Sea Dogs, Gulf Coast Lighting, Bad Boyz, Sudden Impact and maybe a team from Miami. Oh and since the TD for this years Ws is from Louisiana I am guessing a team or two from there might get a bid.

We have been to events where the teams trade pins. Do they trade pins at Disney?

Our son has been to Elite 28 / 32 at 9U and 10U and he is going again this year at 11U. Since we live in the Disney area we could always fit pins into the budget. The boys have a great time trading them and they always seem to like the ones that have some kind of light or movement (its a man thing). If not in the budget then don't worry about it. The boys will have fun no matter what.
