We played 10U AAA and it seemed to be ran very good. The website was updated on a regular basis, and they did drag the fields between games. We had only 6 teams in our group and used one field, so wasn't the most complicated bracket to manage.

We played 10 AA and we probably had some of the best umpires we've had all year. I agree with Titans on how the website was updated on a regular basis. Fields were in decent shape. We had 18 in our bracket and it went smooth. As for the prices at the concession stand? That's another story! $2.00 for a bottle of water is INSANE!

Can't comment on how it was run, since I was with my 10u son in another tourney this weekend, but my 8u son's team played games on a field that was smaller than what he played on as a 6u player. Completely inappropriate for the competitive 8u age group, and they had most of the best teams there. I heard it was no more than 135 feet at its deepest spot, so rockets to the fence were force outs at 2B. Not real baseball. Our team played 6 games and had 1 double total. Of course, there were plenty of pop-up HR's, but it's just not baseball.

ok I will give my oberservations now.

Iron Pig the website for pool A was not updated until 6:50. Bracket play was to begin @ 7:00 If we would had to play we would have had to forfiet. Our pool games were over by noon and could not get an answer until 6:48

The umpiring on field 5 was awful. Ask Acworth in the game we beat them how was the umpiring. It caught up with us because they were just as bad the next game when Carroll County beat us.

I have had great experienceswith USSSA this year. Bubba's tournaments have been awesome. But this weekend with Jamie and (well just Jamie cause he didnt have anyone else)was not good.

I guess I didn't realize that. Is that a by product of having the first round of brackets Saturday night? The last game in Pool Play, which was us, was scheduled at 5:15 and the first Bracket Game was at 7pm. If you had a 1hr 30 time limit that would have put the end of the 5:15 game at 6:45pm. I don't have our book in front of me, but I'm pretty sure we started late as well.

The umpiring on the otherhand is a different issue. Field #9 was pretty good in my experience. Unfortunetly we never had the opportunity to move up in the later brackets.
