So, if the brackets are being broken into two, that means each pool winner would advance with 4 wild cards. Unless the Braves and Stealth are on the same side of the bracket Sunday, that's your championship game. |

Bold statement with the SP Team, their playing really well but they have to be careful since they do have the toughest bracket. |

I tell you what, one team that continues to impress is the Midway Mavericks. Big improvement from last year's squad, they were always good defensively but now the bats have come alive. |

Error,
SP will make it to the finals but in the Silver bracket. I still stand by my pick, Braves vs. Stealth in the ship. Stealth will have to play 3 games in 90 degree heat to just make it there but have a very favorable bracket draw. |

can I rephrase my statement, this is who SHOULD be there, SP vs Stealth, based on talent.
SP has as much talent as any 10u team out there, however, they have just as many coaches "behind the backstop" as they do on the on field and thats not a good thing, it wears on the kids and usually contradicts what the real coaches are trying to do. Let those boys play baseball, the talents there!

I do think the SP team has a ton of talent but I'm really interested as to why the EC Braves weren't mentioned here. They beat the Stealth team in the final 6-1 and that is one potent offensive team with some really good arms as well.
If they can keep the core group together, they should be playing majors next year. You guys really smoked that Silver bracket! |

I am not surprised to see the Stealth and EC Braves in the championship. Both teams are very disciplined and have a great coaching staff. I hope to have the talent in place to compete with them next year!!!! |

Our team has played a few of the better teams in the past but we dont run from any. Our little league schedule dictates when and where we can play. However we hope to play travel only next year and improve our game. Our team consist basically of part of western little league and warner robins all stars.( Middle Georgia Moccasins ). Why dont USSSA just move several teams up from AAA to Major ? |

USSSA made several changes in A, AA & AAA but nothing in the Majors although I thought 2-3 teams should have been bumped up from AAA simply based on their in class records. Perhaps next season they will bump a few teams up from AAA. |

Heard both the Braves and Stealth had scares in bracket play, the Stealth had to come back from behind against those scrappy Yankees for a 4-3 win and the Braves had to come back against the Wills Park Scorps to win by one run. |

So I was off a tid bit, from what it sounds like, the way SP beat up the silver bracket for the title, they could of gave the Braves a better game than Stealth, but from what I hear, the EC Outlaws used all the Stealths good pitching up on their big bats in the semi finals.
I guess the only team that has the Braves # this year is the Yard Dogs, I think they have beaten the Braves 2-3 times this year

Your observations are as off as your predictions. The Stealth-Outlaws game was 12-0 in the 1st or 2nd inning. I think the pitching perspective was just the opposite of what you are guessing. It appeared they used their bottom tiered throwers to get through the game since it was well in hand from the beginning. It's tough for even the top teams to finish a game strong with that type of early lead.
And your idea that SP being in the finals would have made for a better game is a bit of a reach. Do you think they ended up 0-2 in pool play and put in the silver bracket by accident? |

My predictions, out of 22 teams, I picked one of the final teams and the other blew out every team they played to win the silver bracket, I dont think I was to far off, all I am saying is SP has the talent and played like it on Sunday. On Saturday, they may have been shocked a little by playing two "major" teams in pool play due to the fact they have been playing mostly AAA teams this year.(ChooChoo and EC Stars, CC may not be labeled a major but I think we can all agree they could play major).

Congrats to the Braves players. Playing 10 games in seven days, I think they learned a little something about themselves. |

I didn't see that much from Choo Choo to say they are a major team, after all, you guys beat them in bracket play fairly easy didn't you? The Stars are a very good team, been a little inconsistent but who hasn't. They can play some solid ball though. |
