Hurricane, I believe that most teams share the wood bat. The problem with the wood bats at this age is that there is not much of a selection and it is hard to find one with the correct length and weight for the 11 year old.
Hurricane, If you are referring to this weekends tournament, the following was posted on this forum by ATPP regarding the tournament. "Bats will be provided by Shamrock Bat Company or you are welcome to use your own." I thought for some reason that I had heard that 3 bats are provided but it is possible that I confused that with last year's tournament. Regardless, most kids have their own bats.

Does all tournament provide any wood bats to the teams playing? Do most players share bats?
Played in it once a couple of years ago and they provided some, but buying one or two reasonably priced bamboo bats make sense for your team. They are great to train with as well. I know Ron at Elite Sports East Cobb has some and his son's team is in the tourney. I am sure he would give you some decent recommendations.
Nice tournament. Fun to watch Wooden Bats. West Ga bandits showed very well with the roster ads from AL giving 643 all they could handle and nearly won. very competitive final between Team Ga and 643. Game could have gone either way. Congrats to 643. Interesting to watch the difference wood bat made. Teams that executed small ball fundamentals showed well. Bunting is a lost art and it was very cool to see some great bunting.
