I wouldn't touch this post with a 10 foot bat, but when the ace is pitching for each team they are all hard to beat.

I was saying if the ace for Astros pitched it would be hard for any of the other ECB teams to beat them. If the ace for the Titans pitched would be tough for others to beat them and so on. I am too wimpy to pick one team over another.
Like Tball said. on any given day.

C'mon Papa, you have at least a hundred posts out here with your "gotta bring your best, on any given day any of these guys can beat us, we can't let our guard down, etc, etc.".

Now you puff out the chest with the "hard for who..." comment.

So which is it, are you the "aw shucks, gotta bring it each week", or the "ain't nobody can beat us" guy?

(and for all of those reading this without a sense of humor, I'm just poking some fun at Papa and typed this with a chuckle in my heart)

Teams in the East Cobb Area

I was at all tournament park this weekend and saw all the east cobb teams except the Astros. All the teams they have are pretty darn good teams

643 Cougars, the number two team in the state, one of the best coached teams around. I watch their coach in two games just masterfully control the game. I think that there are teams around with a lot more talent but this guy just manages the game at every level and that is hard to beat.

643 Jags, a good team, On paper you do not see it but some how they go out and have quality wins, but then they get close to the big dance and they struggle a little bit. I really like this team. I think they need a little more pitching.

.

Titans is good team with probably the strongest kid in the state on their team and he can hurt you with the bat, he hit a line drive home run that was about 7 feet high. Top ten team. I think they have a nice group of pitchers. Good coaching but made big mistake this weekend, I think they overlooked a team. Rented the big kid from the Atros but for some reason left him on he shelf.

Stars look like they are a lot deeper in their pitching and hitting than most teams around. Watching this team you would think they would be a top ten team. I think if their coachs could get it together this would be a contender.

Luck is a nice team, you do not want to see them in a fight(lol), they have some very big kids. I think they can upset anybody. Played a very good game against the team ga (4-2). Good team, thay have had some great upsets this year . If you see them do not look pass them.

The colts, I am still trying to figure them out. They beat the bandits then they go out and they do not win a game. I am going to have to give them another look because i just do not know what to think. I think they are still trying to find their way with their new coach. At the end of the day can beat anybody.

Venom, you do not over look them, they can sneak up on you..Nice team. I think they need a little more pitching and they would make more noise. But do not look pass them or you will get beat.

All and all I think there is a lot of talent in this area. I think if you could pull from each team and put one team together, then they would be able to contend with some of these nationally ranked teams. Maybe that will happen at 12s
