My son doesn't cry much but when his B2 broke a couple weeks ago a few tears were shed. This bat was given to him by a very special friend and he hit his first homerun and all 6 homeruns that he has with this bat.
Lastnight he was so happy to know that I just bought him the Easton Stealth XL, I can only hope that this bat brings him as much success as his B2! |

Funny you say that 10BB, my sons new Combat B2 just arrived yesterday, and I'm thinking it will get him back into the HR column after a long dry spell.
We tried $600 worth of Easton's (Orange barrel with Blue handle), but we didn't like the V-shaped barrel shape which end loads all the weight. I think they are better for bigger stronger boys. The Combats have better balance for smaller boys.
He also just dented his 1-year-old Worth metal Blue/White bat. Lots of trampoline pop, but also lots of re-coil making it tougher to drive through the ball for lighter boys. It served him well.
I think the size/strength of the player is huge in picking the right bat. Good luck with your selection! |

10BB, is that the Stealth Speed XL? I have been curious as to how well they hit. They have a huge sweet spot, but are too expensive to buy without geting some feedback first. My son has been hitting with a Worth for the past several years (it has served him well), but I am tired of having to rotate 3 or 4 each season. He is too strong for that bat and doesnt like the feel of the Combats. Bill, do you have any feedback on the Stealth Speed (our boys are about the same size)? |

10BB: Listen to Papa and listen good. Go find the Demarina Voodo 2011 model. The Chainsaw, #13 and #12 are all using this bat now and it might be the best bat that we have ever had and you all know that we are Combat fans. |

k coach; that is the bat I bought him, the Easton Stealth Speed XL. I know that small barrel bats is the way to go for my son and there isn't a bat on the market with a bigger sweetspot.
I know a team that hits a ton of homeruns and this is the bat that is in the hands of most of them. Papa the Voodoo is in the hands of the other boys on this team that is not using the Easton Stealth.
#10 needs a small barrel bat and we have had numerous Combats. If this new bat doesn't work for him we will go back to the Combat. |

Papa which stealth do you guys have the drop 10 or 12. Saw a red drop 10 and a green drop 12 for 250.00. Does this sound right? Also can someone tell me the pros and consof small barrel vs big barrel. We all use big barrels and want to know why maybe small barrel is better. |

A bad carpenter can't blame his tools. While the bat can give you a little more or less pop. It is more about what you do at the plate between your ears than what bat you are swinging. I will take a base hit off the wood if you can do it for high average than the occasional homerun with a loaded bat anyday. Not to mention that when the majority of the kids hit a homerun their next at bat is a pop up. consistency between the ears... |

I've seen a few boys swinging the new Easton Rival and it seems to have good pop - anyone have any info on this bat. |

It has more to do with the Indian, not the arrows. |

That's why my son takes lessons from the Headmaster at Hogwarts school of Wizardry!
