I'm interested to see what fun this list stirs up.
I will say CBC should be higher on this list and any of the Southern teams listed on here should be ranked higher than Beaver Valley, Tri-State and Michiana.
And unless the South Oakland A's have dramatically changed that roster over the years they are here because of name only. We have 20 teams in two counties that are better than that team has been historically. |

What is PG stand for? What is their ranking system, and how do they get info on these teams? Do they gather info like TBS? |

We played Michiana last year. Our team was mediocre and lost to them 3-1. I think there are some strong ECB teams that could pitch through them. jmho. One problem I have...where are the Stallions? They belong up there as much as the Titans or PC Vipers. And Devcon? I dont believe they even accepted their Elite 32 bid. I think the Carolina Reds took it. Plus they won the fall Super NIT when most teams werent playing. I dont buy their top 25 slot-especially in front of CBC Storm Black |

Curious as to who "PG" is and how do they arrive at their rankings? Is this Travel Ball select affiliated? Not familiar?
Inga - would totally have to agree on the SO A's?? |

Well thats a good list you got there and looks pretty accurate, except for a few minor errors. I disagree with the fact that you got the Astros ranked number 1. They have only won one tournament and the other two that they were in, they were eliminated early in bracket play. This may be because they have the "ASTROS" name, but dont get me wrong they are a good team, but I havent seen where they have proven that they should be number 1. There are some other teams that should be higher up on this list like the PC Vipers and the CBC Storm, instead the list has the ECB Titans ahead of both these teams. I dont know where this nonsense comes from.
Other than that the list is good :P

PG is Perfect Game. They are the premier national scouting agency in the country. I'm sure they can't evaluate everyone, so their rankings probably come from teams with national exposure, teams that have played in their events and possibly having kids on the teams that have attended their individual events. I'm just guessing.
I know this, once you get into HS and want to move on to the next level, Perfect Game is the place to be noticed. Go to their website at perfectgame.org and do a name search for HS studs and guys who have gone pro over the last 5 years or so and you find that many of them have attended perfect game events. |

I'm not sure how you go about ranking teams you've never seen. This is more of a reputation ranking than anything. The Astros won it all last year and added talent from PC, Bulldog, Louisiana Terror, etc. So the #1 ranking is warranted, but maybe not earned for 2010 yet. But who on that list has earned it? I agree that the Stallions should replace the Titans on this list. Since late March, they have beaten the Titans twice, as well as Paulding County and the Astros. Plus they just finished in the top 4 of a 15U tournament. Nobody else has done that. |

I agree 643, the Stallions definately need to be on the list. They are loaded with talent. |

Polls are so subjective. Just look at the BCS National Championship. When it first comes out, no one has "Earned" their place for the season other than how they built their team. Even at the end there are many disagreements.
I would say some of the details in this write-up have more to do with the reasoning than the things everyone sees on the surface.

I think this is a solid job of ranking the 14U teams by Proctor and Gamble! Good to see Bulldog Baseball get an Honorable mention! Devcon Security folded? |

i think that east cobb team rawlings and the east cobb stallions are better than the titans, and ECB stallions and ECB Rawlings are evenly matched |

Yo , its tough to ck into usssa roster sites to compare teams anymore cuz it feels like every one is running to tripple crown
But you can ck most teams roster plus what i like is the against same class record and power record
Dont kno howmuch that matters anymore with such slim play in usssa |

I think Rawlings is an interesting team, but name one team they have beaten of any significance? The only elite 14U team they've faced are the Titans, and they lost that game. They had the easiest pool in the 15U tournament and got into the final 8. I will say that playing very close to the 15U Barons is a good start to crediblility. But to say they are better than the Titans or evenly matched with the Stallions sounds like a parent's wishful thinking. |

I herd some people talking about this team up in New England called Lightning Baseball. They only lost to East Cobb Astros by 4 and came in 4th at the CABA World Series last year behind the Puerto Rican National team, Astros, and the Louisville Diablos. Supposed to be loaded with talent. Someone check them out |

A little bit of mis-information about the CABA WS; we beat Lightning Baseball 12-0. They were a really fun group and trying to get developed.
