real sorry all of this had to happen however this does not cast a darkshadow on triplecrown sports for me.TC brings the best ball teams from all over to play tourney after tourney.I am sure the umpires will own up to the mistake and get it right next time.Witnessed one incident in the GA OUTLAWS - HOMEPLATE LAWSON game.A homeplate runner tagged from 3rd and was thrown out up the line by the left fielder the runner was not only out but ejected from the game for not sliding. After a meeting between umpires and then umpires-headcoaches they allowed the player to remain in the game THEY GOT IT RIGHT.This was a great game between two talented teams.GA OUTLAWS got the win and Homeplate got the oscar on a trickplay that didnt work.

I agree 100%. Tony runs the best tournaments in town, maybe in the Southeast.
I've been around a little, and have to agree. He really cares, and puts as much effort into it as the boys and coaches do. Having great venues makes helps too. I saw only 1 bad hop last weekend at East Cobb. Weirdest thing happened though, the outfield sprinklers came on mid-game making it look like a scene from Caddy Shack...darned Gophers!

I'd like to add that I've known Tony since we were 8u kid pitch and there were only about 6 teams available to play in TC tournaments up here. Things have grown quite a bit over the years and he runs quite probably the best show out there. I'm always glad to have my teams a part of his TC tournaments. No doubt Sandtown and 643 Cougars can play a dozen games and split them right down the middle. Two great teams.
I'd also like to give a shout out to the North Georgia Cougars. Playing out of Ringold these guys are probably always playing second fiddle to the Bandits but I thought it should be recognized they played some outstanding baseball in this tournament. They played great against our Ga Jackets Gold losing on a dramatic double play to end the game just as momentum looked like it was turning in their favor. Then they went on to a hard fought bracket play 2-0 loss to Sandtown when Sandtown was the only higher seeded team to win in the first round of gold bracket play Sat night/Sunday morning. Great job Cougars!
