Looks like a good group of teams. Maybe a couple more will jump in as the week rounds off. With rain in the forecast teams may not get much playing in this weekend (4/23-25) as they had hoped. |

Turned out to be a great weekend of baseball. Had a little issue with a team not showing up for a consolation game but that got worked out. |

Thanks for everyone that came out and played. It was a really enjoyable weekend. I hope you enjoyed it.
Congrats to the Charlotte Hurricanes, East Cobb Astros, East Cobb Longhorns, and East Cobb Stallions for making the semi-finals. Kudos to the East Cobb Longhorns and East Cobb Astros for making the finals.
Thanks again for all who came out and played/supported the tournament. |

The tournament was fun to watch. It was very windy, but at least we still could play ball. Good job to the ECB Longhorns to make it to the finals. They had four pitchers to throw complete games this weekend. WOW! Congratulations to the ECB Astros for winning the tournament. You guys did a good job! |

It was a very good weekend of baseball Greg. As it turned out, the pool with the Longhorns, Hurricanes, Stallions and Phillies turned out to be the strongest pool by far. Three of the four made it to the semi-finals, and the Phillies won big in their consolation game. |

6-4-3, I am confused on the combined pool team record reference. Pool A and B had a normal distribution (1 3-0, 1 2-1, 1 1-2, and 1 0-3).
I won't disagree that pool C seemed to be the most balanced. I will say that Big Stixx gave the Astros a run for their money in the first game of elim play and who expected the Warriors to go 0-3 in pool play. |

Alter - I think 6-4-3 is referring to the overall tournament records of the teams in those pools. For example, Fayette Rangers 1-3, US Nationals 1-3, and the Diablos 2-2 for a total of 4-8.
The Astros pool was no doubt the easiest. I really don't think that even though the Astros put the schedule together it was their intent for it to end up being the easiest. I'm sure the first priority was to make sure they weren't playing in-park teams until bracket play. Then everyone assumed that the US Nationals would be better than they were. Kind of like the So. Cal National team that came in here last year at the 13U USTBA tournament and laid a big egg. You just never know.
By the way 6-4-3, I heard you laid your 6-4-3 voodoo on the Stallions last weekend when the Titans pulled off a 6-4-3 triple play against them. It's scary that you can do that all the way from Tennessee!!!
