I saw this tournament is only showing 2 teams. Luck and Venom. $375.00 Anyone know if any other teams are planning on playing. my Sons team are a low end AAA/AA team but it might be fun for our boys to get a chance to play at this park. Don't want to find out major bandits or 643 Astros jumoped in at last minute and kill our teams spirit.
Both 6-4-3 teams will be playing in a Triple Crown Tournament at Wills Park during that weekend so you don't have to worry about them. Sandtown is also playing in the same TC tournament. With only two teams signed up so far, that tournament at ATPP may not be held.
bkball: Just show the team the movie "Miracle on Ice" the night before the tourney starts, and you might be surprised to see how well they assert themselves.
We offered this tournament as an opportunity for the top 12 teams to square off. Maybe the holidays had something to do with it??? We feel like that university that got a commitment and then a de-commitment right before signing day. We also got ALOT of calls asking who was in the tournament. Probably enough of these calls to field a 12 team tournament and turn 18 teams away. Shame teams didn't sign up as we have two pretty nice fields and we run pretty organized tournaments.
Oh well..We will take this weekend off and do some much needed facility maintenance. Hope to see you at the park soon...
