PC Vipers dropped the hammer down Sunday. Beat Stallions in semis 10-2 and CBC Storm Black in finals 12-2. Showed the first approx 11 innings of pool play were a blip as they came alive. Job well done. Congrats to Stallions and Team Rawlings for Semifinals.

Congrats Vipers...Great job.

Thanks for making my prediction wrong, but seriously, David, you just don't look right out there without the red shoes.

PCV showed their lack of practice together Friday night.....but also showed their depth on Sunday with going back to back to back (Team Gwinnett, Stallions/Astros,Storm)....that is Seed #1, #3 and #2 with around a 23 run total differential. Congrats to the Viper team for a great weekend!

I'm suprised there hasn't been more discussion about the North Atlanta High School situation. That one field really created a lot of issues this weekend. On Saturday night, teams were sitting around wondering if and where they were playing because they fell so far behind in pool play at NAHS. Teams were rushing here and there and not fully mentally ready for their games.

Then it made teams finish playoff games the next morning because the lights went off at 10, pushing back the Vipers and Team Gwinnett. Then it made Vipers rush over to East Cobb, while making the Stallions wait around in the cold and rain for 90 minutes. I'm suprised anyone was motivated to play by mid afternoon.

I love seeing so many teams in the tournament, but Tony might want to rethink North Atlanta High School as an additional field.

Columnist, You didn't even mention the dozens of baseballs lost on the roof.

I don't expect that North Atlanta High School will be an option anymore. They had no concession stand or restroom near the field. The restrooms were inside the school and the boys were walking with metal cleats on the polished floor.

Inga,
Don't remind him that he has those shoes!!! I've hidden those so well, I'd have to buy new ones if he wanted to wear them.
