Thanks to Triple Crown Sports and Travel Ball Select for teaming up and reporting the 12U Astro and 11U Bandit matchup on the national scene. Tony had told me that Triple Crown and Travel Ball Select was working together and there was a staff member of Travel Ball Select that reported on the entire tournament and even highlighted the Astro Bandit matchup. If you are not a member of TBS then you should consider joining as they post information about Travel Baseball from the West Coast to the East Coast.

How else will you ever know the teams if you don't make the effort to see the tournament with a set of your own eyes. I just wish that USSSA would make the same type effort. Triple Crown is one of Papa's favorite places to play but I will say that I will be looking forward to our first tournament with Bubba and USSSA so that I can tell all of you guys if Bubba plans on bringing USSSA back to the top spot in Georgia. There are issues that I truly believe that Bubba is going to help us out on and he has assembled a powerhouse in the 11U Super NIT Major field and that is always the first ingredient for a great tournament.

Papa, you are right, it is great to see them at the games actually watching. Alot of the stuff that gets put on those sites is just from coaches. I met the TBS rep last year at ATL SNIT and later at the TN. SNIT , super nice guy, also local ( I believe he played HS ball at Mceachern/ college at Valdosta state). He knows his baseball and is also a good guy to chew the fat with. I think he will probably be at Slugfest if not he will be at the SNIT. If we see him this weekend I'll introduce ya'll.

ecbstix: Papa met him last year during an interview with the Chiefs and met and had the chance to talk to him after our game was over but during the game I didn't know he was there. I can promise you that he knows the 12U Astros should be ranked on the national level.
