Southern Baseball, Are you extending that offer to the teams already in the tournament? |

Guys, you should consider playing in this tournament. They put on a well run tournament and this is a very good park to play at. We should all give them a chance. It already has some pretty good teams playing.
1. North Ga. Cougars are a very good team. Last year came as close to beating the Bandits as anyone. They have picked up three great players including a kid that any team might want including the Bandits.
2. Cartersville Rookies. Never seen them play but everyone is already talking about them. So if you want to play them here is your chance.
3. Chattanooga Colonels 11U. Newly formed team, have seen them play a couple of times. All I can say is these boys know how to hit and hit hard. They have a couple of very good pitchers as well.
4. N. Ga. Lightning. Solid team with an abundance of pitching. Picked up three new players for this year. Should be competetive with any team in this tournament.
So guys this should be a good tournament so sign up and give them a chance, we are. |

fourseam: Send Papa a resume on the Cougar pickup. Is it too late for the Bandits to do their recruiting pitch. |

Papa, from what I understand the Cougars picked up a player that has been playing for last years 11U Colonels. I am told that he is quiet a player. Do you know of this kid? I was told this by a reliable person. |

If it is the kid that I think it is you have been told correctly. This kid is a phenom and in my opinion is one of the best players in the nation and that was at 11U last year. I was told that the one I am thinking of was playing for the new Chattanooga 12U team and it would surprise me but not floor me if he was playing for the Cougars or any other 11U team for that matter. He could play for Papa any time he wants. |

We are playing in 6 tournaments at Heritage Park this year. Had a great time at their tournaments last year. The park was clean and the fields were great. The only bad thing, was the portable pitching mounds are very small which some of our pitchers didnt like. |

Papa, it is my understanding the Colonels are not playing until May because of middle school rules in Tennessee and he will rejoin the Colonels team at that point. |

fourseam: If he becomes available as a free agent you be sure and let Papa know. Great kid with even greater baseball skills. Bandit material for sure. |

Papa, so whats up are you guys bringing the Bandits to Dalton? And will you be playing up here as well? I think you guys are very smart to be doing this and I truely believe the Bandits will be even better in the end for making this choice! |

Bandits have always and I said always loved playing up North. Everyone knows that the Bandits have played the Northern circuit consisting of Nashville, Knoxville, and Pigeon Forge and the Southern Circuit consisting of East Cobb and greater Metro Atlanta.
The reason any team travels is to find the toughest competition in their age group so you will always find the Bandits where the "Bad Boys of Baseball" are that weekend. We chase them, They chase us and we all chase each other and most of the time you will find most of the tougher teams in one location.
Traveling so much allows us to experience not only the great competition but also to see different venues and different formats.
Papa is going to go on record and say that no where we have been is better than the North Georgia venues that we play on and that the East Cobb teams, The Gwinnett teams, Team Georgia, and all the Metro South teams, (Chili Dogs, Stixx, etc.) need to make it a point to book some tournaments here. When you get them to come I can promise you that the Bandits would love to walk to the fields and get in on with them all. |

Papa, with all due respect I asked you a simple yes or no question. You have paid your dues and have earned the title of "STUD OF BASEBALL" but you never know what team is on the rise out of no where. And would love to see how they match up with"THE STUD OF BASEBALL"! So is it YES or NO? |

hotbat12: I am sure the answer is a simple yes. I am not sure when as you must know that we can't be but one place at a time. We love playing there and when some of the other major teams find out what a good place it is to play then I am sure we will see more of them coming and when more of them come the more we will stay closer to home. And the Bandits have earned nothing that we can take with us this year. We all are starting out at the starting line and we have a whole new year of "everything to prove". I am sure that at some point our tournament schedule will be posted and all will have the opportunity to hunt us down. |

Papa is throwing down a challenge to the East Cobb boys. You say you want to play the best the game has to offer. This tournament allows you to travel a short distance and I say short as the Bandits has drove this road many times going in the other direction hunting you down. Sandtown will also be here waiting for you and there are some other teams that would love a shot at you guys.
Wouldn't it be nice to beat the Northern Teams on their home court. If you've got the guts, We've got the fields to play on.
So come on down and let's have some good ole baseball fun. |

East Cobb teams it sounds like Papa has call you out. That is a big bite to chew on. Papa do you extend that challenge to any other teams besides EC. Like maybe 643, Team GA, Prime Time, and all the others we here some much about. I'm sure the teams in North Ga and SE Tn would love to see these guys. It will make for a great tournament. It already has some very good teams in it. Lets see if anyone is up to the challenge. |

For all that have got the guts the glory will be waiting for you on the green grassy fields of North Georgia. Papa would love to see Team Ga. Prime Time, and always look forward to the challenge the 643 teams bring. If these teams come it will be one to remember. Only one East Cobb took the challenge. Papa is disappointed. |

I've got to think more of the big teams will sign up for this tournament. It looks to be the biggest of the weekend and would be a great warm up for either the Super NIT or Triple Crowns March Mayhem the following weekend. Don't disappoint Papa. Come on up and lets make this a great one. These are good people running this tournament and it really is a great park. Take a look at the list it already is a good tournament.
