I hear from a reliable source that a meeting was held last night that confimed the 10 players that will make up the newly formed team called The Colt .45's.
moser you ain't right. I guess the next team with will called Jack Daniel's Dawgs or maybe even White Lightning. Is the Colt 45's the old Scorpions bunch and if they are who is doing the coaching. These teams keep coming out of the woodwork like termites. Looks like Coach Steve could exterminate some of this since he is is the Exterminating Business.
Papa's 11U Bandit Grandson used to play for the Rome Rattlers and one of our fiercest rivals was the Colt 45's out of East Cobb. #20 will be seeing red and be ready to go for this group as he will think he is back in the 8U war zone.
It is beginning to be obvious what kind of people this site attracts. The name does bring back some memories but I think the Colt 45 along with the Winchester rifle were the guns that won the west. These guys might be thinking that they have now have the guns to win the South.
Just don't come thinking that Papa and the Bandits are coming to the fight unarmed. And anyway Coach Troy is our most important cog and I expect all the bullets to go over his short little head. Remember the words of Lewis Grizzard if you are aiming at Coach Troy " Shoot Low He is riding a Shetland"
Again, Is the remnants of Coach Steve or the team that left the Scorpions. This is an important question.
