Is anyone planning to play in this tournament at Harrison Park? The website doesn't show anyone signed up but I know of at least 20 teams from my contacts that are registered at different levels, but none in the 11u group. These tournaments were a lot of fun last year and well run. |

I've done some recruiting and now it looks like the SP Wildcats, ECB Stars, Holly Springs Express and maybe the HP-Chilidogs. That's 4 in one-day. We'd love to have 8-10 teams at 11u. We will do our best to schedule around your football schedule. You can contact me if interested at spwildcats@gmail.com, |

I am updating on this website www.spwildcats.com.
I'm not sure why USTBA is not updating their website but the teams coming now appear to be:
- Sandy Plains Wildcats - ECB Stars - ECB Titans - Holly Springs Express - Duluth Wildcats - Georgia Jackets
The Chilidogs have expressed interest and are considering.
There will be only 8 spots. Please email me at spwildcats@gmail.com if interested. |

Here's the current field. It is looking STRONG for a late season tournament:
11u Teams registered: - Sandy Plains Wildcats - ECB Stars - ECB Titans - Holly Springs Express (confirming football schedules) - Duluth Wildcats - Georgia Jackets
Others to confirm tomorrow: - ECB Scorpions - Chilidogs - Team Georgia
Papa/JC - are the Bandits considering this one? Sandtown anyone? Can we finally get these two together? |

Titan1 Let's continue to pursue LL even if nothing pans out for this Fall. The teams they are developing for their World Series each year will need Elite sparring partners that LL cannot produce. Problem will be their field dimensions, and closed bases. |

This tournament is shaping up to be almost as good as last weekend. Looks like another sunburn coming for the breamking that weekend. Question coach mark will the 12's be playing those days also. Would be real nice to compare the two playing levels at the same place. |

Yes, 12u will be playing at the same time. Here are the confirmed teams:
- Sandy Plains Wildcats - ECB Stars - ECB Titans - Holly Springs Express - Duluth Wildcats - Georgia Jackets - Homeplate Chilidogs - Kennesaw Outlaws
There are a few other major teams that have expressed interest that we hope to confirm soon. We have decided we will expand this group to 12 if others want to join. We can add games on Wednesday or Thursday to help schedule around football and we have other field options for Saturday/Sunday at either The Railyard or Jacket Field.
I know the Bandits are done, but we'd love to host you Papa. I'll even make sure we have some BBQ and Brunswick stew if you want to come on down.

I think we can still take 1-2 more teams at 11u. The Sandy Plains Prowlers have decided to play. For AA/AAA teams, please remember that USTBA separates after pool play into two brackets. There are 3 AA/AAA teams already signed up so this can be a competitive tournament for everyone.
The weather looks great this week and the fields are in great shape. Mid-60's for the weekend and 0% chance of rain. Best weather of the Fall. If you want to Fun tournament for your team, the USTBA tournaments are always a lot of fun. |

Coach Mark, we tried to pull a team together but just can't pull it off. Sorry, we would have really enjoyed playing in your tournament. |

I'll wait to list my picks until I see every team in it. Right now I am leaning toward a bowl of Chili for lunch. |

If they can win a tournament without even playing in it then I am truly impressed. |

The Jaguars at one point were going to play, but it didn't work out. We would love to have had them play.
It looks like the teams now are:
- Sandy Plains Wildcats (AAA) - ECB Scorpions (Major) - ECB Titans (Major) - Sandy Plains Prowlers (AA) - Duluth Wildcats (AAA) - Georgia Jackets (Major) - Homeplate Chilidogs (Major) - Kennesaw Outlaws (AA)
We still have room for a few more. The USTBA format separates teams into two brackets after pool play so it's a great format to play competition of different levels, but still have a chance to take home some hardware. But you have to bring it every game because if you lose in pool play, you might not get a chance at the big prize.
Stars and Express had to back out due to football conflicts. Team GA decided to stay closer to home.
If you want to get in, you can email me at spwildcats@gmail.com. |

Minor inconvenience for a team the calibre of 643. |
